OUR THEATERS

The New 42nd Street was created to assume long-term responsibility and oversight for seven historic theaters West of 42nd Street, between 7th and 8th Avenues: Apollo, Empire, Liberty, Lyric, Selwyn, Times Square and Victory. With these neglected and outmoded theatres as its raw materials, The New 42nd Street has formed the nucleus of a new entertainment district for the 21st century—a reinvigorated, new 42nd Street.
